The Hermanus Bowling club raised the sum of R3 430 during their CANSA Day Tournament on 27 February. A total of 104 players participated on the day with Tertia Jaars from CANSA addressing the players at tea time. Her message highlighted the importance of cancer awareness and what one should be on the lookout for. She also explained how the funds collected would be allocated. Bowling Club President Alick Bruce-Brand said they are proud and privileged to have made a contribution to the fight against cancer. “On behalf of the members of the club, as well as a few overseas visitors, I would like to thank everyone of you for your kind donations and for participating in this day.
